03/10/2019 – Came across this video from Jenni Roditi’s opera “The Descent of Inanna”, where she gave me the lead as Inanna despite my utter lack of experience with singing opera. Thankfully, Jenni’s music is quirky, beautiful and is greatly influenced by both world music and jazz in its contemporary expression. 10 years ago now. Time flies!
